More than 18 persons were injured on Friday when cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML clashed with each other during a dispute. The dispute ensued when Nepali Congress supporter Mohichan Raya Yadav who was returning home from the field accidentally broke the embankment of pond belonging to CPN-UML supporter Subba Raya Yadav. The two parties clashed at around 7 in the evening after the dispute intensified. According to police, more than eighteen persons were injured during the clash. Four round of shots were also fired during the incident. The situation was finally taken into control by a large number of security forces including police and APF deployed from the district headquarter Gaur and nearby places.
