Kavre/Jul 5, Patrakar Prahlad Humagain mathi Panauti Nagarpalika ka Nepali Congress adhyekchhya Binod Banjara dwara kutpit. Binod Banjara, Panauti municipality president of the Nepali Congress, thrashed Prahlad Humagain, editor Prabhatpheri weekly newspaper, in Kavre on Saturday, accusing the journalist of publishing a news story against him. Humagain, who has his nose injured in the thrashing, has filed a case against Banjara at the Area Police Office. A police team deployed from Area Police Office, Banepa, arrested Banjara from his house. Meanwhile, the Kavre chapter of the Federation of Nepali Journalists and others condemned the incident and demanded stern action against Banjara.
