Two Arrested for Alleged Gang Rape

Police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in gang rape of an eighteen-year-old girl in the Capital.

 

The arrestees have been identified as Kedar Prasad Phuyal, 28, of Kathmandu Metropolis-16 and Rajan Shrestha, 28, of Dhapasi-28.

 

The duo was arrested after family of the victim filed a complaint at Sorhakhutte Police Station on November 29, police said.

 

Saying that they will go for traveling in the city, Shrestha had taken the girl to Thamel-based Seti Dovan Guest House on November 28. He called Phuyal and the duo raped the girl in the Guest House, police said.
