A man was allegedly killed by his own infant daughter in Ladagada-9 VDC of Doti district. 38-year-old Rabi Saud known as Kalche buried his infant daughter in a pit near his own house after killing her at around 4:00 am in the morning. On Thursday at 11:00 am Kalche's wife Digra informed the district police office that Kalche and his infant daughter went missing. Following a search by police from the district police office and area police office Ladagada, they found the dead body of the infant buried in a place called Gageda. Before leaving home with infant daughter Kalche consumed alcohol and hit his wife and children. His wife Digra and son sustained minor injuries due to his beating. Since the family and no other villagers were aware of the death of the infant, police suspect that Kalche had murdered the infant. He is being held in the custody of the district police office for further investigation.
