A former Maoist combatant who was nabbed with AK 47 rifle and 18 rounds of bullets has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. The former combatant identified as Nabin Kumar Rokaya from Hukam in Rukum has also been fined rupees sixty thousand. He was arrested by the police on July 17 2014 from Dharapani in Manang. Along with him, 5 others who were being held in the custody of district police office Manang have also been slapped the same sentence. The verdict was issued by Chief District Officer Bhim Kant Sharma.
