All public vehicles were halted due to the agitation called by Prithvi Highway Bus Operators committee in Pokhara. The committee was protesting the lack of security after locals vandalized their vehicle. Locals were protesting after a motorbike rider was killed in a road accident by a bus at Rambachchha Bazar of Syangja district on 10 July.
