A group of unidentified people tried to obstruct Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat and a team of lawmakers who were heading towards Nuwakot constituency- 2 to collect public opinion and suggestion on the preliminary draft of the constitution. In their bid to cause obstruction the unidentified group hurled a socket bomb towards the Finance Minister and his team, who were on the way to Khairenitar, at Dhukure Bazar. No harm was done by the bomb whatsoever. The police said that they are yet to ascertain the identities of the perpetrators.
