RPP-N enforces Hetaunda bandh against police intervention

Rashtriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) enforced Hetaunda bandh on Wednesday in protest against police intervention over its cadres in course of submission on the preliminary draft of the constitution. All shops in the bazaar, drug stores and restaurants remained closed following the bandh. RPP-N has demanded stern against those involved in attacking its cadres and free treatment of the injured. As a result, educational institutions including schools and colleges to remain closed. However, transportation service both in the short and long route is normal, the District Police Office, Makwanpur informed. Fifteen RPP-N activists and leaders, including Constituent Assembly member Ganesh Thapa and RPP-N Chairman Kamal Thapa, were injured when they clashed with the police on the second day of feedback collection on constitution draft yesterday.
