Two arrested for torching school bus in Kirtipur

Police have arrested two people on the charges of torching a school bus belonging to the Indian Model School in Kirtipur on July 22. A police team from Metropolitan Police Crime Division nabbed Khadka Bahadur KC, 23, of Rukum and Naresh Thakuri, 30, of Dhading from Bhrikutimandap of the capital on Monday. The duo has been sent to Metropolitan Police Circle, Kirtipur for further action, police said in a statement. The bus, Na 1 Ka, 1023, was set on fire after pouring petrol in front of Laboratory School while it was heading to pick up the students of the school. 

Reportedly the two accused are associated with All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary, the student wing of the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav).
