Police three people from Manmateriya, Rupandehi on the charges of attempted murder of 45-year-old Birendra Lod. The arrested are Ram Bali Lod, Rajendra Lod, and Birendra Lod. These three people attacked Birendra Lod at home in his sleep on Sunday night and injured him with a sharp weapon on his neck. The attackers fled the scene and were later arrested from different parts of the district. The victim is currently undergoing treatment in Bhairahawa hospital.
