Leaders of Khas Chhetri Samaj Nepal threatens to raise weapon if demand of Hindu state not met

Transportation around Maitighar was momentarily disrupted today due to the demonstration of different organizations including United Khas chhetri Nepal and Chhetri Samaj Nepal demanding the reinstatement of Hindu state. The protesters showed up in different traditional and cultural attires carrying band and swords in the rally that ended up in a corner meet at Maitighar.
Speakers at the rally warned that they would launch armed struggle if their demand of reinstating Hindu state was ignored. Nepali congress leader Khum Bahadur and Chairman of United Khas Chhetri Samaj Nepal, MB Thapa were present at the rally.
