Case filed against rape accused in Taplejung

Police have filed a case of rape against a 37-year-old man on August 3 on the charge of raping of a 6-year-old girl on August 1. He was arrested on August 2.
The girl’s medical checkup was conducted at District Hospital on August 1, DSP Shantiraj Koirala informed.
The girl’s uncle filed the complaint on August 2 leading to his arrest. Police said that they withheld the name of the accused of privacy reason.
