A youth from ward no 3 in Thangpaldhap VDC has been found dead on Wednesday. According to Area Police Office Melamchi, the youth's body was thrown 200 meters down Guthebhir cliff following his murder in a hotel in Bhirkharka of Thangpaldhap-2 on Tuesday night. The youth has been identified as Bhupendra Chapagain, 36yrs. Preliminary police investigation suggested that the youth was murdered in order to loot the mobile phone and cash he was carrying at the time. Police have identified all four persons involved in the murder and have launched the search for them. Owner of the hotel Moti Maya Tamang and Sharmila Dong has also been taken into police custody for investigation into the incident.
