Baneshwar tense, police fire dozen tear gas shell

Tension flared up outside the Constituent Assembly building at New Baneshwar on Friday afternoon.
A clash ensued between police and the cadres of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, Nepal (RPP-N) after the latter tried to enter the prohibited zone, demanding Nepal as a Hindu state.
Police fired about a dozen rounds of tear gas shells to take the situation under control.
