Bandh enforcers vandalize government vehicles in Birgunj and Kalaiya

Some government offices and vehicles have been vandalized in Birgunj and Bara during today's bandh organized by CPN-Maoist (Baidhya) and Madhesi and indigenous parties. Cadres of Sadbhawana party vandalized a government mini-bus bearing number plate Ba 1 ga 2260 that was parked in Sirsiya dry-port in Birgunj. Similarly, protesters also vandalized the land revenue office at Kalaiya and burned a motor-cycle. Saying that the land revenue office had defied the bandh by remaining open during the bandh the protesters broke the door of the office and burned a motorcycle bearing number plate Na 1 pa 1695. The bandh organizers have shut down most of the industries in Birgunj customs office and Birgunj Pathalaiya Industrial corridor.
