The clash occurred after the locals of Ganjabhawani, Dahiyar and Malhani villages tried to obstruct the farmers from Golpatti and Bajani tol from using the water from the canal. Police fired five rounds of tear gas to take the situation into control. The farmers of Golpatti and Bajani tol also vandalized two excavators during the incident.
