Kin of Martyrs, Injured Submit Memorandum to President

Families of martyrs and the injured of Jana Andolan II have handed over a memorandum to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav in the Capital on December 2.

They submitted the memorandum seeking proper respect and recognition to President Yadav at his official residence in Shital Niwas today. A team comprising of INSEC mid-region coordinator Krishna Gautam and Dhakaram Paudel, chairperson of Martyrs' Family and Jana Andolan Injured Coordination Committee among others met the Head of the State and raised the concerns of martyrs and injured to him.

Receiving the memorandum, President Yadav said that he will take initiatives for address the demands from the concerned authorities.

The memorandum has demanded lifelong free facilities of education, health and allowance to those injured in Jana Andolan II and making necessary provision to Netrapani Subedi, 48, an injured of Kaskikot4 of Kaski for her treatment.

The demands also include promulgating democratic statute by incorporating the aspiration of the Jana Adlolan II in the extended period of the CA and access of the families of martyrs and injured to the policy level organs of the State.
