Customs officials thrashed by protestors

Cadres of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha have thrashed staffs of Customs Office on August 22 for opening the office during the bandh called by the group.
Subba Kitnarayan Mandal and office assistant Bijuli Yadav were beaten up by protestors for collecting customs by Morcha cadres during the bandh, said DSP Ramesh Kumar Khadka of the District Police Office. DSP Khadka said that the Customs officials ran away after Morcha cadres beat them for opening the office.
