Protestors intervene in rally against Nepal Bandha

In a response to regular strike called by different parties, rally was organized in Baglung with a message "End Bandha Forever". However cadres of Janajati intervened in the rally. The rally was lead by Janalekha Parikshyan Manch. Two days' Nepal Badha was called by National Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) demanding the rights of Indigenous to be addressed in the new constitution. The organizer of the rally said that the rally was against strikes not against any parties. However, the protesters thought that it was against them and thus intervened. The participants in the rally carried placards that read; Provide us environment to work, Find alternative to Bandha, Bandha is not a solution to any problem and so on. Large number of police were mobilized considering potential clash. The leaders and cadres of NEFIN teared the placards and intervened in the rally. However, no unpleasant events occurred due to presence of police.
