Entrepreneurs of Nepalgunj have opposed the strike that has been ongoing since August 11. The entrepreneurs claimed that the protest has affected their business and the protestors are involved in vandalism. A rally was organized on Sunday in protest of the ongoing strike. The businessmen claimed that the demonstrators vandalized property using hired youths and children. The locals also supported the businessmen in the protest against bandh. The businessmen chased the demonstrators from Dhamboji at 2 pm and encircled leaders of United Madhesi Front, Bijaya Gupta and Pashupati Dayal. The police and Human Rights Defenders were compelled to hide both of them in a hotel.
