Nepalgunj curfew lifted for 5 hours

The Banke District Administration Office has lifted the overnight curfew from 9 am to 2 pm for five hours today. The curfew was enforced since 9 am Monday after clashes between Madhesi morcha activists and police.
Banke Chief District Officer Bed Prakash Lekhak informed that the decision to lift the curfew for five hours was taken by a special committee meeting.
