(Update) Loknath Poudyal, the District Security Committee and CDO said that the local administration had issued prohibitory order in different parts of the district. The order includes a ban on the gathering of five or more at a place or ban on any kind of assembly, meeting, demonstrator, poster or pamphlet shows. With this order, teams of Nepal Police, APF and Nepal Army have been mobilized. Areas in and near Ghorahi Municipality, areas in Tulsipur Municipality and nearby VDCs, Lamahi Municipality, areas one kilometre on both sides of Ghorahi-Municipality road and East-West Highway also have prohibition order. The area covering one kilometre around Gadawa Bazaar in Across Rapti has also had the order.
Update....... After different areas of Dang were announced as Riot-hit areas, all of the educational institutions in that area have been closed for a day. CDO Loknath Poudel informed that the schools were closed considering the security conditions of the district. The preparations for the meeting is being done to discuss how classes can be conducted. CDO Poudel also informed that since last night, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepali Army have been jointly patrolling in the district.
