Protestors have defied a curfew in Tikapur and vandalised various properties in Tikapur on Tuesday morning. A group of 20-25 individuals vandalised the house of lawmaker Janak Chaudhary, a resort and two other shops at around 10:30 this morning. Police fired eight rounds in the air to disperse the vandals. The violent clash of Monday, which claimed eight lives, has stirred fear among the locals in Tikapur. Meanwhile, seven police personnel injured in Monday clash are said to be in critical condition. Forty-six persons injured in the clash have been admitted to Tikapur Hospital.
