Earthquake relief items in the form of construction materials that had gone missing from a house in Gorkha district has been found in the house of a police inspector in Dhading. The construction materials including zinc sheets and grills that were brought in for reconstruction of a school in Gorkha had gone missing from a store in Arughat, Gorkha, where they had been stored. Suspecting Inspector Rabindra Khanal of Area Police Office of misappropriating the construction materials, locals wrote to Police Head Office in Kathmandu demanding investigation into the matter. They accused that Khanal had sent all the construction material to his home in Nalang-3 Dhading. The accusation proved right when on Saturday a team of police from District Police Office Dhading recovered 102 bundles of zinc sheet and grills enough for 12 trusts from Inspector Khanal's house in Dhading. Police Head Office has ordered inspector Rabindra Khanal to present himself at the Head Office after the incident. He has reportedly come in contact with DPO Dhading.
