Six injured as protesters, police clash in Mahottari

Police have fired 13 rounds of tear gas shells in the late evening of September 1 to take the situation under control after cadres of Samyukta Madhesi Morcha started pelting stones in Jaleswore.
The protestors surrounded Durgachok from three sides and turned to vandalism following which police fired tear gas shells to disperse them.
At least six persons of both sides have been injured. It has been said that some security persons and six protesters including a woman have been injured.
The District Police Office said that five rounds of tear gas shells were fired.
