Protestors torch copies of newspapers

Cadres of Madhesi Morcha have torched copies of Budhha Darpan published from Kapibastu and Butwal Tuday published from Butwal on September 3. The protestors mistreated newspaper distributor Krishna Yadav accusing him of carrying newspaper in bandh and torched 400 copies of the dailies. They also threatened him not to bring newspaper from next day. Prohibitory Orders Extended for a Week ------------------------------------------ The District Administration Office, Kapilbastu has extended the prohibitory order 300 meters around the DAO for one more week effective from today. Chief District Officer Abdul Kalam Khan issued the order that places restriction to hold any protests in the area where it is enforced as per the sub-clause 3(a) of clause 6 of the local administration act 2028. The prohibitory order is in place in Taulihawa for past two weeks after protest of Samyukta Madhesi Morcha turned violent.
