Dhoti rally organised in Mahottari

Madhesi Jana Aandolan Mobilisation Committee of the National Liberation Front Nepal (Revolutionary) on Saturday took out a Dhoti rally in Mahottari district headquarters Jaleshwor, protesting CPN–UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal’s remarks against Madhes a few days ago. The cadres participated in the rally donning dhoti-kurta and made rounds of various parts of Jaleshwor. Khanal is reported to have mentioned the word Doti in a derogatory sense while referring to the people living in the plains a few days back during an interview.
