New Baneshwor in chaos due to rallies for and against secularism

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) has taken out a rally demanding that the new constitution declare Nepal as a Hindu nation.
The rally which began from Babarmahal has reached the New Baneshwor, where it has convened into a corner assembly.
RPP-N chairman Kamal Thapa led the rally.
The top three parties on Saturday night decided to give continuity to secularism in the new constitution. They also agreed to provide description of religions followed in Nepal in the new statute.
