IED explosion in Mirchaiya, no damages reported

As the government struggles to keep calm in the Terai districts witnessing an unprecedented scale of agitation, an improvised explosive device (IED) has exploded at the Mirchaiya Municipality this evening.
The IED exploded in front of the residence of Birendra Sah, a central member of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal (Democratic) at Mirchaiya Municipality-5. No damages have been reported from the blast, according to Area Police Office, Mirchaiya.
