A cylinder bomb went off here at Area Police Station, Lamahi located at Lamahi Municipality -1, Deaukhuri of the district on Saturday night. Police informed that an unidentified group had detonated the bomb in the police station last night. According to the Area Police Office, Lamahi, no human casualties has been reported so far. However, the pieces of cylinder and sacks were found near the site of the explosion and minor cracks have been developed at the building of the police station. Likewise, the partial crack was developed at a house belonging to Shiva Pokhrel located around the blast site. Police have launched an investigation into the case. Meanwhile, protesters of Tharuwan Struggling Committee have torched a motorcycle at Deaukhuri for defying band on Sunday.
