Bandh Called by Tarun Dal Affects Normal Life

Normal life in various districts have been affected by the bandh called by NC-affiliated Tarun Dal on December 7 against the attack upon its Chitwan president Shiva Paudel on December 6.

The bandh has affected educational insitutions, transportation, industries, among others. Demanding fair investigation against the culprits involved in the attack against five inmates including Paudel inside the district prison branch Chitwa, Taran Dal had called for the bandh.

Reports from Gulmi, Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Arghakhanchi said that the bandh affected transportation, educational institution. INSEC Kailali representative reports that Tarun Dal cadres vandalized a vehicle for defying the bandh called by them. The district police office said that it was investigation the case.

Likewise, INSEC Mugu, Surkhet, Banke, Rolpa, Bardiya, Danga said that passengers were stranded as no vehicles plied on the road due to the bandh.

INSEC Dhading representative said that MC had used children in its rally on December 7.
