UDMF cadres torch house of NC leader

The cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have torched the house of a regional secretary of Nepali Congress Binod Yadav on Thursday. They even looted gold jewellery, cash and clothes from his house before setting the house on fire, according to Yadav's neighbours. A local Anil Yadav informed that more than 100 cadres set fire to the grain storage and the house. He even informed that the cadres even looted the houses of Ram Ayodhya Mahato and Gujur Mahato after torching Yadav's house. Chief District Officer (CDO) Bal Krishna Panthi informed that the group was led by Jitendra Sah, Shiva Chandra Kushwaha and Ram Kishor Yadav. Panthi added that further investigation is being carried out and the culprits will be arrested at the earliest. However, leader of UDMF Ram Kishor Yadav refuted accusations that such activities were not carried out him and other cadres of his party.
