Cadres of CPN UML affiliated students wing ANNISU have burned the effigy of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in Myagdi on Thursday evening. The students burned Modi's effigy protesting against the reported request for amendments in the constitution of Nepal by the Indian Foreign Ministry.
The students organized a protest rally in district headquarter Beni and later burned the Indian prime minister's effigy. Speaking at the program district secretary of CPN UML Bal Krishna Subedi said that Nepal's political parties are capable of solving it's internal problems on their own and India should not be unnecessarily concerned in Nepal's internal affairs.
