Narendra Modi’s effigy burned in Dhangadhi

The CPN-UML affiliated Youth Force and All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) burned effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi against India’s inference here on Saturday. Police later doused the fire on the effigy set ablaze by a group of youth at LN Chowk. A central member of Youth Force Madan Regmi said they burned the effigy as a symbolic protest against India’s interference in Nepal’s internal affairs. “Why India got a headache after Nepal promulgated a democratic constitution following endorsement by an overwhelming majority?” he questioned.
