A news report saying that Tharuhat had opposed the blockade was published in Kantipur on October 2. One Mukesh Chaudhary posted in social media that Panthi should be burned alive on the road. SP Govindaram Pariyar of District Police Office said that preparation was underway to file a case of public offence against the accused.
