Indira Dhaurali, 30 of Phalaicha2 alleging that a cadre of UCPN-M beat her up has filed a complaint at district police office on June 4.

Dhaurali, secretariat member of Limbuwan State Council has filed the complaint against Arjun Begha, 32, a resident of Phalaicha2.

Dhaurali, said that Begha, UCPN-M district member and district vice chairperson of Adhibasi Janajati Utthan Samanwaya Samiti beat her while she was staying at a hotel in Phidim today.

The beating left Dhaurali's tooth broken and injuries to her ear, Limbuwan State Council's district secretary, Kamal raj Nemwang said.

Accused Begha, however, denied his involvement in the beating.

The district police office said that investigation of the incident is underway.
