Cadres of Samyukta Madhesi Morcha have clashed with police as the former were trying to stage sit-in at Customs point in Rani of Biratnagar submetropolis-21. The protestors entered inside Indian side pelting stones at police after they were not allowed to stage the protests. According to police, the protestors disperesed after Indian SSB chased them away as they were pelting stones at Nepal Police. DSP Pramod Kharel of District Police Office sadi that the clash ensued as police used minor force to remove more that 150 protestors who were obstructing the entry point at Biratnagar Customs Office. Meanwhile, 68 trucks have entered Nepal through Rani customs in Biratnagar. Out of those, 12 trucks were carrying diesel and two petrol, said Rani Customs Office.. Sukdev Chaudhary
