Agitators of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have torched a motorcycle on the charge of supplying petroleum products from motorcycle after defying banda at Pipara in Birgunj on Sunday morning. They torched the motorcycle with bearing number plate Na 13 Pa 102 belonging to Sagir Ansari at Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-17 and the motorcycle was completely damaged in the incident, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Parsa. A spokesperson at the DPO, Deputy Superintendent of Police Hobendra Bogati said that the agitators set the motorcycle on fire while Ansari was heading towards the factory. Similarly, the agitators have also vandalized a motorcycle with bearing number plate Na 12 Pa 1282 at Sano Pipara today. Search for those involved in the incident was underway, said police. Superintendent of Police at the Armed Police Force, Bhim Bahadur Thapa, said that four security personnel were injured in a clash that took place between police and agitators at Pipara chowk Saturday night. All the injured are receiving treatment at Birgunj-based Health Care Hospital.
