Police on Monday arrested five persons on the charge of child trafficking. Police said that 23-year-old Pema Tamang of Sindhupalchok along with three others was nabbed from a bus with a bearing number plate Ba 5 Kha 4055 at Nagdhunga Check Post of Chandragiri Municipality-3 while they were taking 16 children to Kakarbhitta without any official letter.

Similarly, 29-year-old Chotaku Lama of Daunne Pokhari-8, Kavre was also arrested with two children at Nagdhunga Check Post of Chandragiri Municipality-3 yesterday. Police informed that he was detained from a bus with bearing number plate Ba 3 Kha 2255. Police said that they are looking into both cases.
