Nine children living in a child home in Pokhara Sub-metropolis-6 have been rescued by District Child Welfare Committee on November 8 after the child home was found operating illegally. DCWC inspected the Child home after receiving complaint stating that children residing in the child home had been facing difficulty as illegal activities were being carried out in the name of child protection. The complaint added that the child home has not followed the direction of DCWC and there was internal conflict in the organization. Children have been rescued and put in the Child Helpline (CWIN). Those rescued children belong to 3-6 years of age group and there are six boys and three girls, said Badri Prasad Wagle, Officer at DCWC. A monitoring team comprising Krishna Prasad Regmi, Chairperson of DCWC and Assistant Chief District Officer, Badri Prasad Wagle, Child Protection Officer, Goma Dhakal, Chairperson of Child Home Network had monitored and rescued the children. The team has taken the entire document of New Vison for investigation. Jyoti Gurung of New Vision Child Home has been issued a letter asking her to be present in the District Administration Office. जिल्ला बालकल्याण समितिले अवैध रूपमा सञ्चालन गरिएको भन्दै पोखरा उमनपा-६ स्थित न्यू भिजन बालगृहबाट नौ जना बालबालिकालाई कात्तिक २२ गते उद्धार गरेको छ । बालबालिकाको संरक्षणका नाममा गैरकानुनी क्रियाकलाप सञ्चालन गरेको, जिल्ला बालकल्याण समितिले दिएको निर्देशन पालना नगरेको र संस्थाको आन्तरिक द्वन्द्वका कारण आश्रति बालबालिकाले दुःख पाएको भन्ने उजुरीका आधारमा जिल्ला बालकल्याण समितिले अनुसन्धान गरी बालगृहबाट बालबालिकालाई उद्धार गरी बालहेल्पलाइन (सिविन) मा राखेको छ । उद्धार गरिएका बालबालिकामा ६ वर्षेदेखि १३ वर्ष उमेर समूहका ३ बालिका र ६ जना बालक रहेको जिल्ला बालकल्याण समितिका बालसंरक्षण अधिकृत बद्रीप्रसाद वाग्लेले बताए । जिल्ला बालकल्याण समितिका अध्यक्ष एव्म सहायक प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी कृष्णप्रसाद रेग्मी, बाल संरक्षण अधिकृत बद्रीप्रसाद वाग्ले, बाल गृह सञ्जालका अध्यक्ष गोमा ढकाल लगायतको टोली बालगृहको अनुगमन गरी बालबालिकाको उद्धार गरेको हो । टोलीले न्यू भिजन बालगृहको सम्पूर्ण कागजात समेत अनुसन्धानका लागि लिएको छ भने सञ्चालिका ज्योति गुरुङलाई जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयमा उपस्थितिका लागि पत्र दिएको छ ।
