A youth, who had left Nepal Army three months ago, has been arrested with arms on December 10.

Nawaraj Ghimire, 28, a permanent resident of Jita6 of Lamjung district was arrested by Pashupatinagar Area Police Office along with a Chinese pistol and its bullet.

Ghimire, who had been travelling in a bus plated Lu 1 Kha 5606 heading to Bhairahawa from Janakpur, was arrested after he tried to run away when the Ratamate Police Post in Hetauda was checking up the passengers for security, Inspector, Dipendra Panjiyar said, adding that Ghimire had tied the pistol and its bullet on his waist. <
