Police on Saturday arrested Shambhu Prasad Joshi (26) of Bhepse, Baglung on the charge of extorting businesspersons and industrialists. The Metropolitan Police Crime Division informed that he had called up dozens of persons demanding money impersonating as the secretary of CPN-Maoist. He was held from Bhotebahal. Earlier, Joshi was arrested from Balku on a social crime charge and was released after paying a bail of Rs 5,000 last year.
