Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB), the border security force of India, rescued six women from Rupaidiha while they were being taken to India on Monday. It is suspected that human traffickers had taken the victims from quake-affected Sindhupalchok district to India through Nepalgunj-Rupaidiha border. An SSB official said the women admitted they were on their way to Gulf countries via India. One Dipak Kumal was also detained.
