A woman has been beaten by her husband in Nanglibang VDC on July 3.

Gita Pariyar, 32 of Nanglibang-9 has been beaten by husband Tek Bahadur Pariyar, 37 in a family dispute, locals said.

Gita, who fainted following the beating, has been undergoing treatment at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital in Baglung.

The accused was arrested same day and investigation of the incident is underway, Tika Pokharel, SI at District Police Office said.
