Bed Bahadur Oli, 27, of Rangkot6, an inmate of Rolpa District Prison has not been able to receive treatment for Hepatitis B that his is suffering from for the past month. Oli is serving jail term since November 3, 2010 on robbery charge.

Accepting the charge, acting jailor Bimal Patel said there was no direction from center making them unable to take him to better facility for treatment.

Prison authorities said though Oli has been referred to Kathmandu for treatment, he was being given some general medicine.

The prison is full of other problems. The inmates do not have sufficient water and the building is in dilapidated state. There are three positions vacant including that of the jailer. <
