Banda imposed by Netra Bikram Chand:- 'Biplav'-led CPN Maoist has disrupted normal life in Kaski district on Sunday as transportation services, markets, and other institutions remain shut.
Meanwhile, police arrested 27 banda enforcers on Sunday morning from various parts in Kaski. According to police, 20 Maoist cadres were arrested from Pokhara while seven others were held from Lekhnath municipality. Chand-led Maoist party has called a nationwide strike on Sunday to protest the unofficial Indian blockade ongoing for the past 100 days.
