Tulsipur Area Police arrested a woman from Khairapur in Pawanpur-7 VDC on the charges of murdering her own son by poisoning him. According to police 25-year-old, Sunita Bhandari poisoned her two sons by taking them to a nursery near her house on Wednesday morning. Locals informed the police after knowing about the incident. Of the two boys poisoned, Sujal passed away while he was undergoing treatment at Rapti Zonal hospital in Tulsipur, while Sujit is known to be in stable condition following the treatment. Through a police investigation, it has been revealed that the accused woman had used pesticides to poison the two boys. The accused woman was living with her brother-in-law. Police are further investigating the incident.
