One lakh students in Mahottari formed a human chain for two hours on Thursday to support the Madhesi agitation. The event was organized by Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization, Nepal (PABSON), National Private and Boarding Schools’ Association Nepal (N-PABSON). Students displayed placards and banners with various slogans including, 'Ensure rights of the Madhesis, 'Guarantee students' rights', 'Declare schools as zone of peace', among others. The 90 km long human chain stretched in different parts of the district including Jaleshowor-Janakpur road section, Khaira Chowk, Mahendra Chowk, Hospital chowk, Jaleshowr Samsi chowk and Jaleshowr Bardibas.
