Two Trucks with registration number Lu 1 Kha 8748 and Na 6 Kha 1248 have been set on fire at Chandrauta Krishnanagar road section on the charge of defying the bandh called by Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) on December 6. Two Trucks which were heading towards Krishna Nagar from Chandrauta were stopped in between Jawabhari and Rudrapur road by the Morcha cadres and were set on fire, informed Ward Police Office, Chandrauta. Movement of vehicles in the road section was resumed after Madheshi Morcha had relaxed the agitation for some time. But on December 6, Cadres have again called the strike and set two trucks on fire during the night. Nabin Singh, a truck driver with the registration number Na 6 Kha 1248 has been beaten by Morcha cadres on December 7. Satish Chandra Gupta, Coordinator of Madhesi Morcha took the responsibility of the incident stating demonstration will continue until the problems of Madhesi are resolved. Nanda Ram Paudel
