The mother of a 5-year-old girl of Manma-9 has filed a complaint at District Police Office on July 27 accusing a 16-year-old boy of raping the girl.

According to the mother, the boy entered her house on June 20 when there was no one at home. She added in her complaint that she found her daughter in pool of blood when she returned home in the evening. The girl is being treated at District Hospital Kalikot now.

The mother has also requested INSEC to ensure justice to her daughter and action against the perpetrator. When asked, the DPO Kalikot’s Inspector Chiranjivi Dahal said police would proceed in the case arresting the boy as soon as possible.
